14th Annual PumpkinFest

Come out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather at the 14th Annual PumpkinFest on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. This family friendly event has been a staple in the Mesquite community since 2000, celebrating autumn, and all of the wonderful seasonal sights and activities that come with it. Scheduled to be held at City Lake Park, this year's festival is going to be one of the biggest ones yet and include stunning entertainment for everyone to enjoy. And the best part is that entry into the festival is absolutely free, making it a must-attend event you won't want to miss!

The 14th Annual PumpkinFest will feature a wide array of activities the whole family can enjoy, including a petting zoo, pony rides, bounce houses, a picture booth and air brush tattoos. Those who want to participate in any one of these select activities will have to purchase tickets for $1 each or buy a $20 wristband for unlimited rides. In addition to this, live performances from Alexis Elkins, Dunford's Zumba and Alex Schlinke will be held throughout the day at no extra cost. A costume contest is also scheduled to take place at 4 p.m., so make sure to have your kids dress up in their favorite Halloween attire; they could end up the big winner!
