The Ford Motor Company launched the EcoSport crossover SUV in North America in 2018. This subcompact model enjoyed a brief run on the American marketplace compared to the competition. Due to major economic changes on a global scale, this inexpensive vehicle will no longer be part of Ford's lineup starting in 2023. As Ford continues to focus on electric vehicles and partially electrified cars all over the world, traditional models with internal combustion engines will quickly disappear from the roster.
