The Ford Motor Company launched the EcoSport crossover SUV in North America in 2018. This subcompact model enjoyed a brief run on the American marketplace compared to the competition. Due to major economic changes on a global scale, this inexpensive vehicle will no longer be part of Ford's lineup starting in 2023. Ford Motor Company and DTE Energy announced on Wednesday that they have partnered. They purchased the most significant renewable energy from a utility in U.S. history. The companies have agreed to buy 350 megawatts (MW) of wind power from the DTE wind farm. The new wind farm will be the largest in Michigan. It will produce enough energy to power over 120,000 homes. The partnership between Ford and DTE Energy is part of their commitment. They want to reduce their environmental impact.
