The return of Ford Motor Company to Formula 1 competition in 2026 has been announced. The company has not participated in the sport since 2004 but is about to return with a new hybrid powertrain created in collaboration with Red Bull Racing.

Ford Motor Company and DTE Energy announced on Wednesday that they have partnered. They purchased the most significant renewable energy from a utility in U.S. history. The companies have agreed to buy 350 megawatts (MW) of wind power from the DTE wind farm. The new wind farm will be the largest in Michigan. It will produce enough energy to power over 120,000 homes.
