Continuing their year-long celebration of the Mustang's 50th anniversary, Ford has decided to join forces with pop artist Burton Morris, through the Mustang Unites program, to create a one-of-a-kind art collection of the pony car. The stunning collaboration includes the production of 10 hand-painted and sculpted Mustang pony emblems in Morris' signature pop art style, as well as a series of additional works - available for a limited time.
To commemorate the Mustang's anniversary along with its global release this year, Morris' ten emblems each feature a different flag of one of the countries the pony car is available in. These countries include the United States, Spain, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, Ford is also selling limited-edition print and aluminum posters of the emblem artwork, which are available for purchase now on Mustang Unites official website.
"As Ford Mustang celebrates 50 years, it has become a symbol of pop culture with the pony being one of the most recognizable icons worldwide," said Morris. "I am thrilled to have my paintings be a part of Mustang Unites and celebrate Mustang around the world."
