The Ford F-150 Lightning has emerged as a top electric pickup, blending work-ready utility with electric efficiency. It's built on the same platform as the Ford F-150 but replaces its gasoline engine with an electric drivetrain. The 2025 model year introduces minor refinements to its standard features and now comes with a mobile charging cord that includes an NACS adapter.
What Are the 2025 F-150 Lightning Trims & Features?
The 2025 Lightning lineup features five trims.
The Pro entry trim features vinyl seats and flooring, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a factory trailer hitch. It also includes satellite radio, a digital instrument cluster, a 12-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 120V outlet. The Pro rides on 18-inch wheels, features LED headlights, and supports DC fast charging.
The XLT swap replaces vinyl with carpet floors and adds a power-adjustable driver's seat, leather steering wheel, under-seat storage, and expanded safety tech.
The Flash trim upgrades to 20-inch wheels, a power tailgate with integrated step, a larger 15.5-inch touchscreen, a heated steering wheel, push-button start, keyless entry, wireless charging, an eight-speaker B&O sound system, BlueCruise hands-free driving, and additional safety features.
Lariat adds a dual-panel sunroof, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and leather upholstery.
Platinum tops the range with 22-inch wheels, a 14-speaker premium audio system, massaging front seats, high-end leather trim, a towing package, and Pro Power Onboard delivering 9.6 kW.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 F-150 Lightning Have?
The standard dual-motor setup produces 452 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque. With the extended-range battery, output rises to 580 hp and range improves.
