Special edition Mustangs don't get much better than Ford's all-new Apollo Edition pony car. Paying homage to space aviation, the unique Mustang was created and auctioned off to benefit Experimental Aircraft Association youth programs. Donning decals and a color scheme that resembles the design architecture of NASA's Apollo program, the fastback is an attractive vehicle fit for a modern day adventure.

Using a 2015 Mustang GT, Ford's team of highly-skilled engineers created the Apollo Edition Mustang. To give it a look that directly connects the pony to NASA's Apollo program, the design team coated the vehicle in a black and white paint scheme, added USA decals across the body and equipped the vehicle with an LED underbody that gives it a space-like glow. Additional carbon fiber materials were used modify the exterior of the fastback, while performance gauges, embroidered seating/floor mats and customized sill plates were integrated within the cabin. Apollo Project logos were stitched on both the driver and passengers seats, while a special Apollo NASA logo was stitched on the backseat.

Outfitted with a 5.0L engine, generating 627 horsepower and 540 lb.-ft. of torque, the Apollo Edition Mustang also sports a performance package that delivers optimal power, taking its appeal to new levels. The package comes with special Forgiato 21-inch performance wheels, Brembo brakes, sport-tuned suspension, a Ford performance shifter and an X-pipe, providing a premium driving experience.
