What's New For The 2019 Ford Super Duty?
The Ford Super Duty has a few changes for 2019. While it didn't get a complete overhaul, it is lighter than ever. The frame and chassis are also stronger thanks to cutting away some of the body weight and using new, high-strength aluminum alloy for the body that is military-grade. There are higher towing and hauling ratings, making the Ford Super Duty best in its class. The interior has also gotten a new-and-improved facelift, especially with some of the new technology that has been made available.

There are Six Trims and a Ton of Features on the 2019 Ford Super Duty
There are a total of six trim levels for you to choose from with the Super Duty, including the F-250 XL, F-350 XL, F-250 XLT, F-350 XLT, F-250 Lariat, F-350 Lariat, F-450 XL, F-450 XLT, F-250 King Ranch, F-350 King Ranch, F-250 Platinum, F-450 Lariat, F-350 Platinum, F-450 King Ranch, F-450 Platinum, F-250 Limited, F-350 Limited, and F-450 Limited. The F-250 models are the smallest while the F-450 models are the largest.
You can enjoy a number of standard features regardless of trim level, including manual air conditioning, Blind Spot Monitoring System, SYNC 4, and cloth seats. As you increase the trim levels, you can enjoy power-locking tailgates, leather-trimmed seats, access to camper and tow packages, and much more. The exterior will look the same in many instances, with platform cab steps that are black or molded-in-color. You can also choose power deployable cap steps with the Super Duty F-450 Platinum and some of the other trim levels.
Power & Performance Features for 2019
The engine in a 2019 Super Duty is going to vary based on the truck that you choose. Most will have a 3.2-liter 2-Valve Flex Engine that can deliver 385 hp. Of course, you can also make a few upgrades, such as the 6.7-liter Power Stroke Turbo Diesel engine, which can provide you with up to 450 hp. You will also have the TorqShift Heavy-Duty 6-speed SelectShift-G automatic transmission to deliver more performance to the truck. Upgraded diesel engine-exhaust braking is an option, too, when you choose a diesel engine under the hood.
Ford Super Duty Safety Features
The safety features are numerous within the Ford Super Duty. You will have front with passenger side deactivation airbags along with front-seat side airbags and a safety canopy system with roll-fold side-curtain airbags. An SOS post-crash alert system will also get you the help you need if the truck senses that you have been in a collision. When there are small kids in the truck with you, there are tethers to hold the carseats in place. Additional safety features are available with tech packages, such as blind spot monitoring and lane keep assist.
