The round indentations were stamped onto the tailgate after Ford Stamping Process & Design Manager Kevin Blaser suggested engineers create a spot for owners to put their coffee on the tailgate when out hunting. Trying navigate through a crowded parking lot and successfully park your truck in an ideal spot can be a difficult feat when tailgating; however, thanks to the Ford F-150's new 360-degree camera this grueling task can be drastically simplified. Using exterior cameras to create a bird's eye view around the truck, the 360-degree system makes it easier for drivers to back up into tight spots and avoid obstacles within range of the F-150.
