Austin Cindric Joins Ford Multimatic Motorsports for Rolex 24 at Daytona

Ford Performance NASCAR Cup driver Austin Cindric will join the Ford Multimatic Motorsports team for the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona. He'll fill in for endurance driver Ben Barker, who is recovering from a broken collarbone due to a skiing accident over the holidays. Cindric will join teammates Mike Rockenfeller and Sebastian Priaulx, who are driving the Ford Multimatic Motorsports Mustang GT3.

This will be Cindric's sixth Rolex 24 appearance, and he's confident that the Mustang GT3 will help him perform well.

Cindric, who hails from Mooresville, NC, is a multi-race winner in the NASCAR Cup Series. Among his recent wins is the 2022 Daytona 500, where he drove a Team Penske Mustang to victory. Prior to his stock car career, Cindric raced in sports car series across the U.S., developing his skills behind the wheel of Ford performance vehicles like the Mustang GT4. He's also competed four times in the Michelin Pilot Challenge at Daytona with Multimatic Motorsports, earning a win in 2019 with Priaulx at Road Atlanta.

2025 marks the 10-year anniversary of Cindric's first race with Multimatic and Ford at Daytona, and the team is excited to have him back. Cindric is eager to prepare for the upcoming race on January 26th.
