Trims & Features

For a car available in only two trims, it sure has a rich menu. The C-Max is the only one in its class to offer dual-zone automatic climate controls on its base edition. It's also the only one with a panoramic roof on the menu. A hands-free power liftgate, another exclusive, makes loading easier. The large cargo hold can expand to 56 cubic feet. A driver's power chair on the base trim is another class-best feature. Keeping you entertained, the SE trim has the Ford Sync display with rearview camera and Bluetooth audio streaming. Pandora internet radio and USB ports are on board. The Titanium trim adds a big touchscreen with the latest integration connectivity, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has HD radio, SiriusXM and available navigation. With GPS-linked maps, you can get a five-year complimentary subscription to travel and traffic services from SiriusXM. Titanium editions have leather upholstery, taking the C-Max to a more upscale looking. The front seats are heated, and the front passenger gets a power-adjusting chair. In both trims, the back seat is especially welcoming with good legroom, standard rear air ducts, and available rear USB ports. Travelers will like the class-exclusive sub-floor compartment for your small valuables.

If you expect your car to serve the driver, you won't be disappointed with the 2018 Ford C-Max. A four-cylinder gas engine is paired with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack. The combination allows it to kick out 188 horsepower. That's the best rate in its hybrid wagon class. The car earns 38 mpg* highway and 42 mpg* in the city. The aerodynamic build is enhanced by air shutters. Brake regeneration recaptures wasted energy and uses it to power the car. To help you make the most of its technologies, the system includes an energy coach.

2018 Ford C-MAX RearWhen Ford created the C-Max, they had to reinvent the car's structure. In doing that, they made sure the C-Max was full of safety protections and preventive measures. Traction controls react to road challenges, maintaining grip and/or stability. Reverse maneuvers are easier with the standard rearview camera. The class-exclusive perpendicular park assist is one of its most popular features. To help the driver avoid collisions during reverse maneuvers, a rear cross-traffic alert will prompt you to brake if an oncoming car is on the same path as your C-Max. Drivers will also appreciate a blind zone monitor to reduce the chances of side-swiping other cars. Ensuring greater visibility in tricky conditions, Titanium editions add automatic wipers, heated exterior mirrors, and foglights. To help your teenager drive safer even when you are apart, parents can set boundaries using the young driver features on the Ford MyKey.
