Amenities Galore

The 2018 Ford Fusion in Mesquite is offered in five trims: S, SE, Titanium, Platinum and V6 Sport. The entry-level S comes with standards like 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, LED taillights, a height-adjustable driver seat and 60/40-split folding rear seats. Excellent technology features, such as Bluetooth, a 4.2-inch touchscreen and USB port will also make it easy for you to stay connected during your drives.

Stepping up to the Fusion SE will add 17-inch wheels, an eight-way power driver seat, rear heat ducts and a six-speaker sound system with satellite radio. Even more amenities can be had with the available Appearance package, which gains a rear spoiler, leather-wrapped steering, foglights and sporty 18-inch alloy wheels.

A favorite with several 2018 Ford Fusion reviews is the V6 Sport. It comes with a unique grille, 19-inch wheels, rear spoiler, quad exhaust tips, nine-speaker stereo system and adjustable suspension dampers for an improved driving experience.

Mechanical Configurations

Most models employ a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that generates up to 175 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the vehicle's front wheels. An available 1.5-liter turbocharger that puts out 181 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque is offered on models equipped with the Luxury package.

The other two engines offered on the car include a 2.0-liter turbo and V6. The former is able to put out 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet, while the latter delivers up to 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet.

Safety First

Other than the usual standards, the sedan also offers a slew of driver aids. They include blind spot monitoring, forward collision alert, lane-keep assist and pedestrian detection.
