Specs at a Glance

The 2026 Ford Bronco Sport offers a unique blend of heritage styling and modern utility. The Big Bend and Badlands trims provide different equipment levels to suit various types of drivers. Both models are engineered to be your companion for daily travel and outdoor adventures.

Performance

The Big Bend is powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that generates 180 horsepower, paired with all-wheel drive. The Badlands trim is equipped with a 2-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 250 horsepower and utilizes an advanced 4x4 all-wheel drivetrain.

Off-road capability is a hallmark of the Badlands, which features a twin-clutch rear-drive unit and an off-road-tuned, lifted suspension. It also has steel skid plates to protect vital components. While the Big Bend offers five G.O.A.T. modes, the Badlands expands this to seven, including specific calibrations for Rock Crawl and Mud/Ruts.

Appearance

Both models share a rugged design language, but they have distinct exterior finishes. The Badlands comes with a shadow-black roof, while the Big Bend typically features a body-color roof. Both trims utilize carbonized black grilles with white BRONCO lettering. The Big Bend can be customized with body-color handles and unique grille colors, such as ebony-black with bronze lettering.

Features

All Big Bend and Badlands models are equipped with the Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 suite of safety technologies. In the Badlands, this is enhanced by a trail view camera and front parking sensors. Interior differences include the digital display size: 8 inches in the Big Bend and 12.3 inches in the Badlands. The Badlands also features premium amenities, including dual-zone climate control and heated, leather-trimmed seats.
