A lockable glove compartment and center console with beverage holders are standard in this affordable model. Spacious enough for up to 15 people, the 2021 Transit Passenger Van XL is designed for providing reliable transportation services in urban areas. 2021 Ford Transit Horsepower
A 3.5-liter engine block with the Port Fuel Direct Injection technology is standard under the hood of the 2021 Ford Transit. Burning gasoline through normal aspiration, this V-6 powertrain generates up to 275 horsepower. When working at 3,750 RPM, the PFDI powerplant delivers 262 pound-feet of peak torque. This Ford cargo van also offers a 3.5-liter engine that employs the EcoBoost design. Fitted with dual turbochargers, this V-6 powertrain produces up to 310 hp. Gasoline Direct Injection helps the EcoBoost engine achieve a torque output of 400 lb-ft at 2,500 RPM. Both six-cylinder propulsion systems work in tandem with a 10-speed automatic transmission system that incorporates the SelectShift capability. A rear-wheel drive and an all-wheel drive are available for this versatile Ford van, which rolls on 3.73 or 4.10 rear axle ratios.
Ford Transit Safety
When it senses an elevated risk of a crash, the Forward Collision Warning flashes notifications on the 2021 Ford Transit's windshield. If an accident seems imminent, the Automatic Emergency Braking will attempt to bring the car to a quick stop. This versatile Ford van also offers the Adaptive Cruise Control and Post-Collision Braking. With visual references from the Blind Spot Information System, you might avoid side collisions with automobiles in adjacent lanes. The BLIS includes the Trailer Coverage and Cross-Traffic Alert. Some driving aids that will help you park this large cargo van include the Reverse Sensing System and Side Sensing System. You can also look at images of the surroundings from rear and front cameras.
