What's New for the 2022 Ford Edge?

We like what Ford has to offer for the 2022 model year for the Edge model. This is a vehicle that has been around since 2006, and the 2022 model will see just a few changes to help it keep up with the competition. The base SE trim level will now have the Black Appearance package included as an upgradeable option. It provides 19-inch black wheels, and other black accents are included as well. The SEL trim level now offers the Adventure package, which offers 18-inch wheels that are all-terrain style. It also includes a faux-leather interior design. Gray and black exterior accents are included. There is a new Flight Blue and Forged Green color option for all trim levels, and a safe is built into the center console design for added security.

2022 Ford Edge Trims & Features

Ford is offering the 2022 Edge in five trim levels, with the base model being the SE. You can upgrade to own the SEL trim level, ST-Line, Titanium, or ST models. You'll find the most power and standard features if you opt for the ST trim level, but we recommend our clients check out the SEL trim level as a point to start. The SEL trim level comes with a steering wheel wrapped in leather, the gauge cluster display is partially digitalized, you get LED fog lights standard, the front seats are heated, and a nine-speaker audio sound system is included.

2022 Ford Edge Horsepower

Ford is providing a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine as the base inclusion. It has the power to provide 250 horsepower. If you upgrade to the ST trim level, you get a 2.7-liter V6 engine that can get up to 335 horsepower with its twin-turbo design.

2022 Ford Edge Safety

Plenty of safety features are included standard among the different trim levels for the Ford Edge in 2022. You get automated emergency braking to help you stop in the instance of an expected impact, lane-departure warning technology will assist you with staying in your lane while you're driving, and lane-keep assist will provide you with automatic correction if you start to drift.
