2021 Ford Ranger

What's New For the 2021 Ford Ranger?

The 2021 Ford Ranger gets a few changes this year, which primarily come in available options. The list of conveniences that you can get for the Ranger is now expanded at the base level. Previously, the base trim was limited to single-zone climate control, but you can now upgrade to two-zone climate control instead. The 2021 Ranger has some changes to the driver's seat in the Lariat trim as well. Any trim of the Ranger that you choose can now be made more durable and equipped for trail driving with the addition of a special off-road package that is newly offered. The Ford Ranger has some options for a custom finish on each trim level, including the opportunity to add more technology, safety features, and differences in appearance.

2021 Ranger Trims and Features

The Ranger is produced in a total of three trim levels. The entry-level Ranger is the XL. This year, the XL upgrades from a climate control system that's just in the front row to one that reaches the back row as well. The XL has cloth seats and vinyl floors with a black finish. You will get some handy technology features in this trim, including a four-speaker sound system, a driver's information center, and Wi-Fi.

The second trim level gets a more extensive standard eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with a color background available on the first trim level. Additional USB ports and a 110V power outlet are also added to the second trim level. With the Lariat trim, you will get all the available features on the first two trims. Heated seats and leather seats are both added to the Lariat as well. This trim comes with chrome wheels, and you can choose from an assortment of wheel finishes. Ambient interior lighting is also included.
