What's New For the 2021 Ford Super Duty?
The Ford Super Duty sees just minimal changes on all three models for 2021. Some new interior amenities and adjustments to trim features come with the F-250, while a bed step is added for the F-350 and F-450 this year. The Super Duty model series starts with the F-250, followed by the F-350, which is very similar in appearance and amenities. However, the F-350 has enhanced power and performance capabilities that allow it to tow over 24,000 pounds. The Ford F-450 is the strongest of the Ford Super Duty series, with a towing capacity of 36,000 pounds.
2021 Super Duty Has Varied Trim Levels & Countless Features
All three Super Duty family models have the same six trim levels, although there are some minor changes across the board. WiFi is included on the base trim for all three, which is the XL. The XL on the Ford F-450 adds Bluetooth and the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay that are standard on the base trim in the first two models. The XLT offers more luxury and refinement with chrome touches to dress up the exterior. The XLT also has an interior that is upgraded with a larger eight-inch touchscreen, dual USB-C charging ports, cloth upholstery, and two household-style power outlets.
Leather seats come with the Lariat trim on all three models, along with an upgraded sound system. The King Ranch trim has custom leather seats, keyless entry, and LED lights in the bed for style and safety. With the Platinum comes massaging and ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The Limited gets more upscale seating material, including two-tone leather, along with a moonroof and wood trim accents for the interior.

What's Under the Hood of the Ford Super Duty?
The engine lineup for the F-250 and F-350 is virtually identical. The base engine is a 6.2L V8 that gets up to 385 HP in power output. Next, you can get a V8 that produces 430 HP or a 6.7L V8 diesel with up to 475 HP in maximum power capacity and a torque output reaching 1,050 LB-FT. The top engine comes with a 10-speed transmission. The F-450 comes standard with the diesel engine. Four-wheel drive is available on all three models.
