What's New for the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

The Ford Mustang is now in its second model year, and a few minor changes are being included as part of the 2022 model. The battery has been fine-tuned a bit to get a little more capacity out of it. You can also enjoy an all-wheel drive version that includes heated seats in the front of the vehicle and a heated steering wheel. If you opt for the GT model, you'll now get a painted black roof. There is a Mach-E all-white special edition model called the Ice White Edition. It's only offered for the Premium trim level and also includes 19-inch wheels with upgraded exterior badges. All models offer the new Grabber Blue and Cyber Orange color options.

2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Trims & Features

The base model for the 2022 Mustang Mach-E is the Select trim level. That's followed by the Premium, California Route 1, GT, and GT Performance Edition. We recommend that you take a look at the Premium trim level. Though it's one of the lower-end trims, it comes with an ample 305 miles worth of driving range from the battery. It also has rear-wheel or all-wheel drive available. If you opt for the all-wheel drive option, you'll lose a little bit of your battery mileage. The Mach-E Premium comes with the fastest charging ability, 19-inch wheels, a power-controlled liftgate, and an upgraded audio system from Band & Olufsen.

2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Horsepower

An electric motor is mounted on the rear or both axles of the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E. You can choose between a 70-kWh battery or a 91-kWh battery. All-wheel drive comes with the 91 version for the GT and GT Performance trim level. You can achieve 480 horsepower and 634 pound-feet of torque. Performance ratings provide you with zero to 60 miles per hour in just 3.5 seconds.
