The all-new, completely redesigned 2015 Ford F-150 in Mesquite has already been put through several "torture" tests by Ford's engineers, but now the automaker is also asking for performance-challenge ideas from the public and they plan on choosing five of those ideas to try out in real life. For Women's History Month, Ford is placing a spotlight on the ladies who helped bring the 2015 Mustang to life. Working in a variety of areas, from engineering to design and leadership, women have played an important role in the car's development.

While many people think of the Mustang as a car designed for men, a significant chunk of its buyers are female (about 32%), and many of the key players behind its creation have been women. Over the past year, the following four ladies have worked hard to develop and market the best Mustang yet.
